hard-working、 diligent、industrious的区别

 这组形容词都可表示“勤奋的”意思。这三个词都指对工作、学习、活动的专心

和勤奋，意义区别不大，只是语气的强弱而已。hard-working 非正式用词，

diligent 正式用词，industrious 语气最强。

1) I am sure that a hard-working person can always succeed in the work which he wants to do.

2) If I had been more diligent at school and university I could have been a doctor or a lawyer.
